Gen H has announced rate cuts across its high-LTV and New Build Boost products.
85% LTV rates are down by 0.40%, while 90% and 95% LTV rates have reduced by 0.10%.
Gen H's New Build Boost rate has also reduced by 10bps to 6.44% for an effective rate of 5.42%. The scheme pairs an 80% mortgage with a 15% interest-free equity loan, letting buyers, including foreign nationals, purchase a new build home with just a 5% deposit.
New Build Boost's headline rate, charged only on the 80% main mortgage, is equivalent to a blended rate of 5.42% when spread across the full 95% borrowed.
Gen H has also revealed that two in three applications in July featured two or more areas of complexity, such as complex income or self-employment.
It added that recent launches of AI-powered document reviewers and packaging agents have supported both underwriters and brokers to work more efficiently, improving case packaging so that the number of ‘one-touch’ underwrites – where an underwriter offers a case in the same session they pick up the application – have doubled in recent months.
Sara Palmer, sales and distribution Director at Gen H, said: “2026 has been such a challenging year for our industry. Gen H’s performance shows the strategic benefit of investing in great systems and great people. People still want to buy homes, and we’re here to support our broker partners as they make those dreams come true.”
