Iress has expanded its Lender Connect API for Acre users. The expansion adds Coventry Building Society and Godiva Mortgages, a subsidiary of Coventry, to Iress’ panel of connected lenders.
By securely connecting adviser and lender platforms, Lender Connect can pre-populate a significant proportion of a decision in principle and a full mortgage application.
Advisers using the Acre platform can now submit applications for Coventry Building Society and Godiva Mortgages products more efficiently, with client data stored in their CRM systems seamlessly transferred to lender applications. This reduces the need to rekey data, helping advisers save up to 20 minutes per case while improving accuracy and creating a smoother application process for clients.
Lender Connect is available in a growing number of mortgage platforms, supporting thousands of users across the market. This includes approximately 10,000 users across Iress’ own mortgage platforms, Xplan Mortgage and Trigold, alongside users of third-party platforms integrated with Lender Connect, including Acre’s c.5,000 users.
Warren O'Connell, head of business development at Iress, said: "Building stronger connections between adviser and lender technology is essential to reducing administration and improving the client experience. It’s fantastic to see Lender Connect continue to grow as more lenders and technology partners come together to simplify the mortgage application journey. We’re delighted to be working with Coventry Building Society, Godiva Mortgages and Acre to extend the benefits of Lender Connect to more advisers, giving them a smoother journey from sourcing to application.”
Coventry Building Society’s head of intermediary relationships, Jonathan Stinton, commented: “We’re pleased to be expanding our Lender Connect functionality, making it easier for more brokers to work with us. By reducing administration and keeping key stages of the process in one place, brokers can spend more time supporting their clients. Once a decision in principle has been secured, they can move directly to our intermediary website to complete the application quickly and efficiently. This enhancement reflects our ongoing commitment to supporting brokers with the tools, technology and service they need to deliver the best possible outcomes for their clients."
Justus Brown, managing director of Acre, added: "As part of our strategy of pushing validated case data directly to lenders, we're further strengthening Acre's sourcing capabilities by bringing another top lender, Coventry, onto the platform with the help of Iress. This gives advisers an even greater choice of mortgage lenders, enhancing the value they deliver to homeowners as they find the right products for their clients and accelerate lending to qualified borrowers."
