Mortgage Advice Bureau (MAB) has appointed a new addition to its lending team.
Sam Toms will step into her new role as lender relationships account manager. Having led MAB’s Events team for the last 10 years, Sam will now report to Rachel Geddes, strategic lender relationship director.
Sam will be responsible for finding solutions for underserved consumers and supporting MAB’s lender partnerships, as well as supporting Rachel to further enhance broker education.
MAB says the appointment will help it to establish and maintain relationships with new and existing lenders, with Sam also playing an integral role in helping MAB’s broker network to maximise opportunities for lead generation.
Sam said: “This is such an exciting step for me - one that builds on the relationships I’ve developed over the years with our lender partners, and aligns with my passion for helping our advisers say “yes” to more customers. I’m thrilled to be focusing on how we can strengthen our lender partnerships and make an even greater impact.
“A huge thank you to the marketing team for your support over the years - it’s been a pleasure working alongside such talented people. The Events team was small but mighty, and I’m so proud of what we achieved together. It’s the end of an era, but I know that our events will continue to be in safe hands.
“I’m incredibly grateful for the experiences and friendships I’ve built in my time leading the team, and I’m looking forward to this exciting new chapter.”
