NatWest makes widespread rate cuts to residential and buy-to-let rates

The changes apply to NatWest's core and semi-exclusive residential and buy-to-let deals.

From Monday 10th August, NatWest is reducing rates on more than 200 products in its residential and buy-to-let mortgage ranges by up to 0.24%.

Buy-to-let green purchase and remortgage rates have reduced by up to 0.22%, with the largest reduction to a two-year fix at 75% LTV, down to 4.67% with a £995 fee.

Standard buy-to-let purchase and remortgage rates have will see reductions of up to 0.24%, with the largest reductions again to two-year fixed rates at 75% LTV. Two-year purchase rates are decreasing to 3.93% with a £3,999 fee and 4.73% with a £995 fee.

In NatWest's residential first-time buyer range, two and five-year fixed rates are reducing by up to 0.16% at 85% and 90% LTVs.

Green purchase and remortgage rates are decreasing by up to 12bps.

For remortgage, residential two and five-year fixed rates will see cuts of up to 13bps, including Help to Buy remortgage rates.

In NatWest's standard residential purchase range, two-year fixed rates will benefit from reductions of up to 0.21%, with the lowest rate now 4.55% at 60% LTV with a £1,495 fee. The largest reduction is to a 95% LTV two-year fix, down to 5.38% with no fee.

Five-year fixed rate purchase products are reducing by up to 0.19%, with the largest reduction again to a 95% LTV rate, down to 5.30%.

Two and five-year residential remortgage rates are decreasing by up to 0.16%.
