Paymentshield has created a number of new job roles as part of a new-look business development team, aimed at strengthening relationships across the intermediary market.
The changes double the size of Paymentshield’s national account management team to offer support to key partners, with three new appointments being made to the team. Dean Marson will be joined by John Price, Neil Parfitt and Sarah Jackson.
The boosted national account team will be supported by four key account managers and eight business development managers, each focusing on supporting the firms within each partner panel. This approach allows teams to concentrate on a handful of key networks, developing deep expertise in each partner's processes, technology and structure.
Paymentshield will also assign additional key account managers exclusively focused on supporting directly authorised firms.
Paymentshield says the dedicated support structure for both mortgage networks and directly authorised firms will ensure all partners receive tailored support that align with their business models, Consumer Duty requirements, and client service approaches.
Paymentshield’s distribution director, Emma Green, commented: “I’m really pleased to finally announce this change to our business development team. We’ve got some incredible talent deservedly stepping up to bigger roles as we look to build and strengthen our relationships with new and existing partners.
“We’re now exceptionally well-placed to proactively support our partners to grow their GI penetration, fulfil their Consumer Duty requirements and ultimately ensure more intermediated customers get access to good quality advice and products - whether that be through offering advice themselves or introducing them to our specialist Refer and Protect team.”
