Together has appointed a property finance expert in the North East as the lender aims to expand its presence across the UK. Helen Calderley, who has worked in banking and property finance for more than two decades, has joined the company as corporate sales director.
In her new role at Together, she will be responsible for growing the lender’s brand and promoting its specialist products to clients and professional introducers in the regions.
She joins Together from Cambridge & Counties Bank, where she worked as a business development manager in real estate, covering the North East and providing finance for clients, including corporate customers, buy-to-let, holiday let investors, and even for a parachute club to buy an airfield.
Previously, Helen was senior relationship manager for property finance group Assetz Capital, where she focused on development finance, and at Yorkshire Bank as a business development manager in the North East.
She has also worked in banking, including as a business relationship manager, at Barclays and RBS, where she focused on real estate finance.
Helen said: "I was the first person responsible for growing Cambridge & Counties presence in the North East and am looking forward to expanding Together’s offering on a greater scale with a wide product set and the backing of a forward-thinking company, to provide the finance needed to unlock clients’ property ambitions.
