The Open Property Data Association (OPDA) has welcomed two new members – Hiizzy and Instamo – strengthening its mission to transform the home buying and selling process.
The new additions reflect growing momentum behind industry efforts to modernise property transactions, reduce delays and create a more transparent and efficient experience for consumers.
Instamo provides a secure autofill solution that makes submitting mortgage applications more accurate, secure, and rapid for brokers and lenders. It populates visible form fields inside a lender’s portal using adviser-approved client data.
Hiizzy delivers a transparent, technology-enabled property listing journey that gives sellers greater choice, control, and visibility over their move. Through that journey, Hiizzy is also building transaction-ready property infrastructure, bringing together authoritative property data, seller disclosures, digital verification, and supporting documents into a structured property record that can be reused across the homebuying transaction.
By making more information available and verifiable earlier, Hiizzy aims to improve the quality of property listings, reduce duplication and help buyers, sellers and property professionals progress transactions with greater speed and certainty.
The new additions join a growing network that includes all six big banks, building societies, conveyancers, estate agents, technology providers, and property professionals working together to support the adoption of open property data standards and accelerate the industry's digital transformation.
Freddie Savundra, founder of Instamo, said: "At Instamo, we believe the future of property transactions lies in trusted, connected and instantly accessible information. Too much time is currently lost through duplication, manual processes and disconnected systems.
“Joining OPDA gives us the opportunity to work alongside forward-thinking organisations that share our vision for a more efficient, data-driven property market.”
Lewis Buckley, CEO and founding partner of Hiizzy, commented: “Hiizzy began with the belief that sellers deserve a more transparent, flexible way to bring their property to market. We now believe the real opportunity is bigger than better listings; it's building trusted, transaction-ready property data that can be reused securely throughout the whole process.
"The listing stage is where most of that information is first captured, so that's our starting point. Joining OPDA is a key part of making this real and its work on open standards and trusted data sharing gives us the framework to move from digital listings to genuine transaction infrastructure. We're proud to join and help build a faster, more transparent property market in the UK.”
Maria Harris, chair of the OPDA, added: "We're delighted to welcome Hiizzy and Instamo to OPDA at such an important time for the industry.
"As the government's home buying and selling reforms gather pace, the need for collaboration around data standards, interoperability and trusted information sharing has never been greater.
“The strength of the OPDA lies in bringing together innovators from across the property and mortgage sectors to create the foundations for a truly digital property market, and we look forward to working closely with both organisations."
