AMI launches new diversity and inclusion initiative

Almost a year ago, AMI released its Viewpoint on Diversity and Inclusion within the Mortgage Industry. The report shone a light on some of the issues facing the mortgage industry along with ideas and actionable steps to move forward positively.

The Association says there "have been some encouraging signs over the last 12 months, but there remains much to do on the journey".

To drive the work on this area forward, AMI is hosting a new session to discuss what has been going on, reveal the launch of an exciting new web space for the mortgage industry and outline the next steps to ensure the mortgage industry is a destination place to work.

Tracie Burton from HSBC will host the session and will be joined by a number of people who have been working hard to drive positive change. Robert Sinclair will summarise progress followed by the launch of a brand new website aimed at supporting this important area. This will be followed by a panel debate with Nick Mendes of John Charcol, Alison Houghton-Corfield of MPF, Dom Scott of Lifetime Connect, Dina Bhudia of P2M and Andrew Montlake of Coreco.
