And this year, there is a wider choice of events for the industry to attend, something which I think speaks volumes about the way the market is beginning to pick up.
Financial Reporter made the long journey down to London, film crew and pop up stands in tow, for the first ever Financial Services Expo last week. The event made its debut at the stunning Old Billingsgate, right on the River Thames which was a a brilliant and central location. Expos are a great chance for us to chat to new faces and old, and FSE didn't disappoint - both days were well-attended, and the seminar programme obviously went down well with the crowds as all three seminar theatres had an audience over both two days. We had a wonderful time at the gala dinner and I'd like to say congratulations to James Prosser for successfully launching an exciting new show to the industry. Keep an eye out over the next few weeks for our interviews with some well-known industry figures!
However, we're troopers here at Barcadia Media and we couldn't just stop at one expo - next week, the team are off to represent both Property Reporter and Financial Reporter at the Property Investor Show (come and say hi if you're about!) and then we'll be at the Mortgage Business Expo in November, both at the ExCel. It's a busy couple of months!
