Joining the new business team are Drena Gashi as key account manager for London and Katy Fogarty as key account manager for Midlands and the South.
Drena joins Catalyst having previously worked at First4Bridging, Crystal Specialist Finance and JP Morgan. Katy joins the team having worked for NatWest, Countrywide Mortgage Services and Nationwide.
In addition, Alan Harrington joins the credit team as a senior credit analyst. Alan has many years’ experience in specialist lending, having previously worked for OneSavings Bank, Family BS, and many other specialist lenders.
Drena Gashi said: “I am super enthusiastic about joining Catalyst and bringing my New York style of doing business; having a client focused mindset in building and strengthening intermediary relationships with transparent and expeditious service.”
Katy Fogarty commented: “I’ve worked in the mortgage market, and alongside brokers, for the last 11 years; now I’m excited to join the Catalyst team and looking forward to helping brokers secure the right specialist finance for their clients. As well as Catalyst’s great range of products, I will offer brokers full transparency, strong sales skills, and unparalleled customer service.”
Alan Harrington said: “I’ve joined Catalyst as they launch into the buy-to-let market. My role, as senior credit analyst, is to be their ‘go-to’ buy-to-let product expert, supporting the new business and credit teams with technical enquiries, as well as underwriting cases. The product is great, and brokers will love the criteria, I’m going to be exceptionally busy and that’s exactly how I like it!”
