"We’re delighted to partner with TMG, an organisation clearly close to my heart; I recently left TMG to join Ceta, so there is a long-standing relationship there"
- Mark Chappell - Ceta

Ceta Insurance has partnered with TMG Mortgage Network to provide general insurance (GI) solutions to its 350 network advisers, including access to over 30 non-standard home insurance products. The agreement also sees Ceta become the first GI provider for TMG’s newly launched club for directly authorised (DA) members.

Ceta, a digital personal lines broker and part of the Atec Group, offers a wide range of non-standard property insurance options through its proprietary Infinity portal. The platform enables advisers to quote, compare and bind policies online, often within minutes, even for more complex property scenarios. The system currently delivers an average 90% quotability rate across its specialist risk categories.

Mark Chappell, head of wholesale at Ceta, said: “We’re delighted to partner with TMG, an organisation clearly close to my heart; I recently left TMG to join Ceta, so there is a long-standing relationship there. TMG’s mission is about offering simple, smart solutions to its partners, and that echoes Ceta’s approach; our easy-to-use quote and bind system lets advisors find the best policy for their clients simply and quickly.

“Ceta also continuously benchmarks its products against its peers, ensuring that we consistently deliver value and great customer outcomes. With my heritage spanning both networks and GI providers, I’m passionate about supporting advisors in every way we can to ensure that more clients’ properties get the protection they need.”

The Infinity platform is currently the only online solution able to quote comprehensively for non-standard risks, such as unoccupied homes, properties of unusual construction, or those in flood-prone areas. The partnership allows both appointed representatives and, in future, DA members to address niche GI needs within their client bases more easily.

Scott Thorpe, CEO at TMG Mortgage Network, said: “I’m delighted to welcome Ceta to our business and to feature them as our first GI provider to our future directly authorised members’ club too, giving those DA members, as well as the network members, direct access to standard and specialist, tailored, non-standard GI."

“Ceta’s deep expertise in niche, non-standard household insurance, as well as its data-driven technology-led approach, makes them the ideal partner, it allows us to offer vital comprehensive and tailored solutions to our members and clients. That’s a key differentiator for us, we take a personalised approach. We don’t aspire to be the biggest, but we do want to be the best!”

The partnership is part of TMG’s wider effort to expand the product range available to its network, while also preparing a strong proposition for DA advisers joining its new club model. The agreement highlights growing demand for digitally delivered, flexible insurance options that extend beyond standard home cover.
