Clydesdale cuts residential and buy-to-let rates by up to 0.30%

Two-year buy-to-let rates have seen the largest reductions.

Clydesdale Bank has announced a series of rate cuts across its residential and buy-to-let mortgage ranges, alongside the launch of new exclusive products.

The Bank has launched new two and five-year fixed rate exclusive remortgage deals with £500 cashback, with rates starting from 5.24%. In the existing product range, an 80% LTV two-year fix has reduced by 0.15% to 5.84% and a five-year fix at 80% LTV is down by 27bps to 5.22%.

Clydesdale has also reduced rates in its exclusive purchase range by 0.15%. At 90% LTV, two-year fixed rates now start from 5.89% and five-year rates from 5.35%. The products in this range are available for loan sizes between £300,000 and £600,000.

Exclusive large loan products, for loan sizes between £1m and £2m, have also seen reductions, with two and five-year rates at 75% LTV down to 5.75% and 5.26% respectively.

For new and existing customers in its core range, selected two-year fixed rates will be reduced by up to 0.27% and five-year rates by up to 0.12%.

Selected professional and newly qualified professional fixed rates will be reduced by up to 0.27% and two-year offset discounted rates are down by 0.20%.

In addition, two-year buy-to-let fixed rates have decreased by up to 0.30%.

As part of the changes, end dates will move to January of the relevant year.
