"Denise already has great relationships already with some of the UK’s biggest housebuilders and is now in the perfect position to get to know the smaller developers"
Denise has 19 years’ experience in the new build industry, starting her career at Barratt Homes before moving to Essex based developer, Countryside Properties. Most recently, Denise was a business development manager at a conveyancing practice specialising in new build conveyancing.
At Spicerhaart, Denise’s key responsibilities will be to obtain and maintain part exchange and assisted move business from new build developers throughout the area.
Spicerhaart Part Exchange and Assisted Move has also appointed Lucy Folly as a consultant in its Sheffield office.
Denise said: “I was really attracted to the job because it combines a role that I have previously enjoyed along with the new build industry.
“Having worked for developers, I understand part-exchange from the developer’s perspective. I am also familiar with senior members of staff at many of the large house builders so I will bring all that experience with me. I was also very keen to join an established household name like Spicerhaart.
“I will be looking to meet with smaller developers as early in the process as possible to explain the advantages of having a part exchange option when selling their new build plots.
Neil Knight, business development director at Spicerhaart Part Exchange and Assisted Move, commented: “Lucy is a superb addition to the team as she has fantastic experience in customer-facing roles so will be a real asset as a negotiator.
“Denise already has great relationships already with some of the UK’s biggest housebuilders and is now in the perfect position to get to know the smaller developers and show them how they can get the edge on their competitors by offering our part exchange and assisted move scheme.
“Her appointment is a brilliant opportunity for us, allowing us to expand the business into a region we have previously not been in a position to work in.”
