Handelsbanken has joined the lender panel of the Mortgage Advice Bureau (MAB).
Handelsbanken offers banking and financial services to a range of diverse customers – from individuals to SMEs and large corporates.
MAB advisers will now be able to access Handelsbanken’s product offering – as well as the expertise of its fully-decentralised branch network, which allows individual colleagues in each branch to make nearly all banking decisions.
Steve MacDonald, national head of intermediary business for Handelsbanken, said: “We’re delighted to be able to become part of MAB’s lender panel. We’re looking forward to being able to work with a company that has shown such a commitment to delivering a bespoke service that fits the diverse needs of their clients – something which aligns very closely with our ethos. We believe our tailored mortgage solutions and commitment to meeting the high expectations of customers will be a great fit. MAB’s network of mortgage advisers can now source our entire product suite, giving them access to our full range of residential products, individual customer service, and local expertise.”
Rachel Geddes, strategic lender relationship director at Mortgage Advice Bureau, said: “Welcoming Handelsbanken to MAB's lender panel marks an important step in expanding the options available to our advisers. With more than 40 years in the UK market and a strong focus on building long-term relationships, Handelsbanken offers a unique proposition through its local branches and flexible lending solutions. Together, we share a commitment to helping more clients achieve their property goals, and we’re looking forward to developing this partnership for the benefit of brokers and homebuyers alike."
Earlier this week, The Right Mortgage & Protection Network also announced the addition of Handelsbanken to its panel.
