During this period Jaedon was Head of Mortgage Products, managing mortgage product pricing, innovation and promotion. He also worked closely with the Council of Mortgage Lenders and the Department for Communities and Local Government on housing issues.
Jaedon has a broad experience across the Financial Services industry including High Street, Telephone & Internet banking, Credit & Risk, Foreign Exchange, International Trade, Life Assurance & Pensions, Stockbroking and Merchant Banking. As well as working in traditional financial organisations such as First Direct, NatWest and Prudential, Jaedon has worked with organisations such as Argos, Boots, Citibank, Expedia, Going Places, Manchester United and Tesco, helping them develop capability in Financial Services.
Commenting on his new appointment Jaedon said:
“My teams will ensure we continue to provide sustainable savings and mortgage products for our members; products which offer fair value without onerous conditions. We’re also responsible for developing the new products which will face in to the very real challenges of home ownership in the 21st century.
“My background is a combination of Retail and Financial Services, but I tend to find that most banks have an inbuilt ability to over-complicate life. Mortgages and savings are everyday products that customers need and use, but you shouldn’t need a degree to understand how they work. My new role presents a great opportunity to be different, to listen to our customers and build the products they want and need."
