The Stafford Building Society has joined Mortgage Intelligence's lender panel.
The Stafford's range supports borrowers whose circumstances fall outside traditional automated lending models, such as complex income profiles, self-employed or contract work, borrowers transitioning towards retirement, and non-standard property types.
Through the partnership, Mortgage Intelligence members can now place these cases with The Stafford through its manual underwriting approach.

From 1st March, The Stafford Building Society is reducing its standard variable rate (SVR) by 0.25 percentage points.
The residential SVR will fall to 5.10%, below he current average of 7.15%, according to Moneyfacts data.
