PlannerPal, an AI-powered workflow for financial advisers and wealth managers, has announced the launch of its 'Pre-Meeting Prep Pack'.
The tool aims to bring together everything an adviser needs before a client meeting with a structured, fully referenced pack which standardises meeting preparation.
For many firms, client meeting preparation can take between one and four hours and involves pulling information from multiple systems, including CRMs, valuation statements, past notes, documents and emails. Often conducted under time pressure and shortly before the meeting itself, this work frequently falls to paraplanners and support teams, particularly for complex clients with multiple pensions, accounts and tax considerations.
The Pre-Meeting Prep Pack generates a firm-defined, customised client pack, bringing together portfolio valuations, tax and allowance summaries, progress against goals, key actions since the previous meeting, recent client activity and communications, compliance status and a personalised meeting agenda.
Each pack is fully referenced and assembled from multiple data sources, including CRM records, previous meeting notes, uploaded documents and valuation statements. This provides advisers and support teams with a complete, consistent view of the client ahead of every meeting. By providing firms a holistic view of their client’s affairs, advisers and support staff can easily identify information gaps.
To support a consistent level of delivery, firms can define standardised meeting structures across all client meetings. This is also intended to give advisers and clients greater confidence that their meetings follow an agreed structure, which can also reassure compliance teams at larger firms looking to standardise servicing across teams.
PlannerPal plans to extend the Pre-Meeting Prep Pack with calendar and email integrations, further reducing last-minute preparation by automatically surfacing relevant client communications and upcoming meeting context.
Mark Whitcroft, CEO and co-founder of PlannerPal, said: “Our Pre-Meeting Prep Pack addresses a clear gap in the market. While there are numerous AI tools that can assist advisers with admin tasks after client meetings, advisers must prepare a host of materials in advance, which can often become a significant time burden.
“We’ve built the Pre-Meeting Prep Pack to help firms standardise how they prepare for client meetings, allowing advisers to reduce admin time and arrive at meetings better prepared. It’s also an important step towards our wider ambition to build best-in-class technology ecosystems for financial advisers, with proper integration and connectivity between the tools firms rely on.
“This launch is the first in a series of product innovations we plan to bring to market in 2026.”
