Paradigm has launched a new Artificial Intelligence (AI) Readiness Scorecard tool, designed to help brokers assess how well-prepared their business and marketing activity is for the rise of AI and Large Language Models, such as ChatGPT, and how efficiently businesses are using technology overall.
The scorecard has been developed exclusively for Paradigm member firms and follows the results of Paradigm’s first national AI survey, which showed high levels of engagement with AI tools but a strong desire for further guidance, training and practical support.
It takes around five minutes to complete, and on completion, firms receive a personalised results page outlining their strengths, any potential gaps, and recommendations to improve their efficiency, visibility, and readiness for AI-driven consumer behaviour.
Earlier this month, Paradigm announced the results of its AI survey which showed that 81.7% have used tools such as ChatGPT or Copilot in the last three months but only 45.1% understand the difference between Open and Closed Data.
Paradigm says the new AI Readiness Scorecard tool will help firms understand how effectively they are using technology, particularly as more consumers potentially turn to AI to research or choose a mortgage adviser.
Richard Howes, director of mortgages at Paradigm Mortgage Services, commented: “Our recent survey showed a real appetite for more practical support around AI usage. This exclusive, first-of-its-kind scorecard tool provides advisers with a simple way to understand where they currently stand.
"It is independent and will help firms identify where they can enhance their processes, marketing and technology use. If members would like to discuss their results they get from using the tool, they can contact either myself or our business development team.”
