Paradigm has launched the first national survey on artificial intelligence (AI) within the broker community.
The survey - open to both appointed representative (AR) and directly authorised (DA) advisers - aims to capture a snapshot of how AI technologies are currently being used and understood within the mortgage market, the opportunities they present, and the challenges advisers may be facing when it comes to adoption.
Paradigm is seeking the views of advisers and business owners on where the profession currently stands and how it should prepare for the future.
The results of the survey will help inform its thinking on whether a national strategy on AI, shaped by brokers and distributors, is required to ensure the profession can take full advantage of emerging technologies while navigating issues such as regulation, ethics and workforce impact.
The survey takes around 10 minutes to complete, with all responses treated confidentially. Advisers can complete the survey here: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/G9RZN55.
Richard Howes, director of mortgages at Paradigm Mortgage Services, said: “This national survey on AI for the broker community, powered by Paradigm and with help from lenders and tech entrepreneurs, is looking to secure feedback from business owners and advisers - whether you are a DA or AR - in order that we can start to determine what an industry strategy might look like, as a broker/distributor community.
“This is an incredibly important and relevant market and societal issue, not just in terms of how AI might impact advisers’ day-to-day work, but also in ensuring the broker voice is heard in shaping how our industry adopts and integrates these technologies.”
