Glass boasts over 25 years of financial services experience, including 16 years working specifically in mortgages across a range of roles, including underwriting, mortgage adviser, BDM and head of sales roles, in addition to leading a mortgage brokerage.
Mortgage lending director, Lisa Steele, said: “Buy-to-let is in our DNA and we’ve evolved throughout our thirty years supporting landlords. This is something we continue to do, and an important aspect of Simon’s role is driving positive change, building on our culture of continuous improvement.
“This has seen us invest in our people and technology and refine our processes to improve the broker experience. Simon plays an important part in Paragon delivering faster, smarter mortgage applications, whether that’s the complex cases we continue to excel at or more simple propositions.”
Simon Glass said: “Having worked for lenders in a range of roles, as well as experience on the broker side of things, I have a good understanding of how the two work well together. I’m excited to bring this experience to Paragon, tapping into it refine our processes and deliver an even better service to brokers.”
