The panel provides access to lenders operating across bridging, development finance, specialist buy to let and commercial lending, and is available to members of both organisations.
Lenders included on the panel at launch are B&W Bridging, FBSE Finance, InterBay, Market Harborough Building Society, Octopus Real Estate, Paragon, Precise, Roma, Saffron Building Society and United Trust Bank.
The panel builds on earlier joint work between Simplybiz Mortgages and FIBA to support brokers operating in the specialist property finance sector. In 2023, the organisations worked with other industry bodies to develop the Certified Practitioner in Specialist Property Finance qualification, followed by the launch of the FIBA Academy and an online knowledge hub.
Further enhancements to the panel are planned over the coming months, including additional technology support.
Martin Reynolds, chair of FIBA and chief executive of Simplybiz Mortgages (pictured), said:
“Since its launch in 2021, this initiative has proven popular with, and extremely valuable to, members of both FIBA and Simplybiz Mortgages. The past five years have seen significant change across the specialist property finance sector and, as a result, to the support offered by FIBA.
“The reinvigorated Specialist Property Finance Panel offers an end to end solution for those looking to support their clients in this area. It features a revised lender panel, with additional technology solutions coming soon, which will allow brokers to take a whole of market view when selecting the products that best meet the clients' requirements.”
Emily Hollands, group head of distribution at OSB Group, added:
“Brokers are absolutely fundamental to our business and it’s a pleasure to be part of an initiative between Simplybiz Mortgages and FIBA to support brokers who are looking to evolve their businesses and explore the opportunities available in specialist lending.
“OSB Group operates in every market sector, whether it’s buy to let, bridging, or residential so we’re really pleased to be able to share our market knowledge and expertise as part of the Specialist Property Finance Panel at the start of 2026.”
