Skipton Building Society For Intermediaries has appointed Lucy Lewis as national account lead.
Lucy started her career within financial services in the marketing department at Countrywide, looking after its direct marketing proposition, before later changing roles to a field-based sales development manager.
Lucy then took time off to become a mum before starting work at the Association of Mortgage Intermediaries, at first in a part-time admin role and then later as a senior policy adviser.
She moved to L&G Mortgage Club at the start of last year as a lender account executive, where she was managing lender relationships before her move to Skipton.
Lucy said: “Buying a home is one of life’s milestones whether that’s getting your foot on the property ladder for the first time, buying more space to meet the needs of a growing family or downsizing as you no longer need so much space. Not only is it one of the biggest financial commitments that people make in their lifetimes but it’s an emotional decision with people buying with their hearts as well as their heads. It’s incredibly important to people and a privilege to be able to play a small part in that.
