"We continue to put in place the infrastructure to support our growth ambitions, including growing the loan book to £100 million and expanding into new parts of the market."
Challenger lender Glenhawk has appointed Peter Turner as its new business development manager.
Peter joims from Shawbrook Bank where he was a regional development manager with a particular focus on the residential and commercial bridging markets.
Prior to Shawbrook, he held the role of commercial director at All Types of Mortgages and held previous roles at Commercial 1, RBS and Barclays.
At Glenhawk, Peter will be responsible for expanding and strengthening the lender’s broker relationships in London and the South East. He will also work closely with the senior leadership team on the planned launch of several new products later this year.
Earlier this year, Glenhawk announced plans to expand its product range with the launch of regulated bridging, buy-to-let term products and retirement interest-only mortgages later this year pending its FCA application.
Guy Harrington, CEO of Glenhawk, commented: “Peter is joining us at a hugely exciting time, as we continue to put in place the infrastructure to support our growth ambitions, including growing the loan book to £100 million and expanding into new parts of the market.
“Specifically, his technical expertise operating in the bridging market and deep broker relationships built up at Shawbrook will be a huge asset to us as we look to grow our footprint both in our key markets in and around London as well as across the UK. His appointment is the latest example of our ability to attract high calibre individuals from both our competitors and other established financial institutions, which bodes extremely well for the future of Glenhawk.”
