"We’re delighted to now feature our intermediary residential mortgage range on Twenty7tec, helping us to expand our presence in the intermediary market"
- Grant Seaton, head of intermediary lending at The Cumberland

Twenty7tec has added The Cumberland Building Society to its SOURCE module, giving advisers access to a broader range of mortgage products.

The Cumberland Building Society currently offer holiday let mortgages to the whole of the UK, as well as residential lending to brokers located within their core operating area, including Cumbria (CA and LA postcodes), South West Scotland (all DG and TD9 postcodes), North Lancashire (all PR FY LA BB1-BB2 and BB5-BB7 postcodes) and West Northumberland (NE34-49).

The Society says its operating area will grow over time as it evolves its distribution strategy.

Nakita Moss, team manager for lender relationships at Twenty7tec, commented: “We're pleased to be working with The Cumberland Building Society and welcome the opportunity to assist with their presence in the intermediary space.

"Cumberland are known for their presence in the holiday let market and are now expanding their residential offering whilst offering a personal touch approach to intermediaries through their intermediary team, applying a common-sense approach to each case.

"Home mover, first-time buyer and remortgage residential product ranges will be available to SOURCE via our Twenty7tec Velocity platform. In addition, The Cumberland Building Society criteria will be available to search alongside their products providing certainty to users earlier in the research process."

Grant Seaton, head of intermediary lending at The Cumberland Building Society, added: “We’re delighted to now feature our intermediary residential mortgage range on Twenty7tec, helping us to expand our presence in the intermediary market, while also making our relationship-focused service more accessible to the broker network.”
