In the seven days to 6th July, the total number of mortgage searches handled was 378,210 -the highest seven day period ever.
The week also included the three busiest days on record - Monday 4th - Wednesday 6th inclusive.
On Tuesday 5th July, there were 78,386 mortgage searches - the single busiest day since records began.
Nathan Reilly, director of customer relationships at Twenty7Tec Group, said: “Since we set up the mortgage platform in 2014, we have handled tens of millions of mortgage searches for advisers. This week has seen our best-ever performance. With the unprecedented number of product changes being made by lenders, it’s encouraging to see advisers utilising technology in order to access accurate and up to date information to support their customers.
“Over recent weeks, and at a time when speed and certainty have arguably never been more important, we’ve also seen a huge uplift in the number of advisers using the Apply function to remove the inefficient and time-consuming task of rekeying data during the mortgage application process.”
