"His knowledge of a wide range of property finance options will be a great asset as we continue to develop our unregulated bridging business"

United Trust Bank has appointed Gary Lomax as a business development manager in its bridging finance division.

Gary has a near 20-year track record of success in specialist finance working with lenders including Shawbrook Bank, Selina and, most recently, Together Money where he was regional account manager for the North.

The announcement is the latest in a series of senior appointments in UTB’s bridging division which has recently restructured its underwriting operations into separate teams for regulated and unregulated applications and appointed Adetayo Odukoya to the newly created role of head of servicing.

Paula Purdy, head of bridging sales at United Trust Bank, commented: “Gary is a highly respected figure in the specialist property finance market, and I am delighted to have him on the team. His knowledge of a wide range of property finance options will be a great asset as we continue to develop our unregulated bridging business and strengthen relationships with brokers in the North of England.”

Gary Lomax added: "UTB Bridging has an excellent reputation and I am delighted to have joined the team. The Bank has exciting plans for 2024 and I am looking forward to working with Paula Purdy, Sundeep Patel and all the UTB Bridging team as we continue developing great relationships with our valued broker partners and delivering growth across regulated and unregulated lending.”
