"The number of nominations is a testament to the hard work of lenders, BDMs and intermediaries in what has been another unprecedented year."

Financial Reporter is delighted to announce the winners of its 2023 Awards, which once again saw a record number of votes cast by the intermediary community.

The Financial Reporter Awards programme, now in its fourteenth year, is designed to promote excellent service and practice in the mortgage industry - and reward those who uphold these values.

The Awards programme once again received a record number of nominations and this year it gave readers - mortgage brokers and intermediaries from across the UK - the final say in selecting the winners.

Alongside the existing award categories, this year's programme featured a number of new categories including three which were voted on solely by our readers: Best Product Range, Best Service Levels and Best Lender Technology.

After an initial application and nomination process followed by a judge's shortlist, our readers had the final vote to determine the winners of the Financial Reporter Awards 2023. This means that FRA23 saw a return to placing our readers at the heart of the process - amplifying the voice of the intermediary community.

The winners were revealed at a spectacular awards ceremony last night at Alexandra Palace in London, featuring a drinks reception, entertainment, three-course meal and an exclusive after party, alongside some of Financial Reporter's infamous surprises!

Rozi Jones, editor of Financial Reporter, said: "These awards are designed to give even more power to the intermediary community, in an awards programme specifically to let their voices be heard.

"We're delighted that the new categories, alongside the revamped voting format, went down well with nominees and readers alike - resulting in record engagement and proving that the FRAs remain as relevant as ever in the current climate.

"The number of nominations is a testament to the hard work of lenders, BDMs and intermediaries in what has been another unprecedented year.

"A huge thank you goes out to all of our readers who voted, as well as all of our finalists and winners for taking part in our Financial Reporter Awards and who truly deserve recognition for the hard work, innovation, and exceptional service they have provided over the past 12 months."
