Fintech firm Nivo has appointed Damon Williams to the new role of sales director as it prepares to introduce a number of new initiatives.
Nivo creates and delivers apps and solutions for financial services companies including Pepper Money, United Trust Bank and Ocean Finance. Nivo provides integrated solutions which manage and accelerate tasks such as remote identity verification using facial recognition, e-signing, secure messaging and document transfer.
Damon Williams joined Nivo in January 2023 and has over a decade of experience working in the technology sector with companies including Tesla, LivePerson and most recently as sales manager for Safety Culture, a global technology company developing apps and tools for the health and safety industry.
Nivo has over 50,000 monthly users and in December 2022 announced that it had received a further £1m investment in the business from The Northern Powerhouse Investment Fund by Maven Equity Finance and existing investors Barclays. Nivo plans to use the cash injection to hire within its product, marketing, customer and sales divisions with Damon being the company’s first appointment since securing the investment.
Damon’s team currently comprises Zach Thomas, Ash Higson and Laura McShane but Damon will be looking to grow the team further as Nivo launches a number of initiatives which aim to transform the way businesses transact and communicate with their customers and third parties.
