Building a legacy for the future

"I’m really proud to work for a business my parents created," Victoria says. "I’m looking forward to a future where my sister and I can champion their love and passion going forward to take the network into the future.

"Along with the other fantastic directors and staff that feel the same, the future is really bright and exciting because two couples started a business they believed in together, with advisers and their customers at the heart of everything they do," she concludes.

"The main message is that family businesses can bring something valuable to the mortgage market when everyone understands their role, respects each other’s strengths and keeps the family dynamic healthy," says Vic.

"There is also a strong sense of pride and legacy. I am proud of what the business has achieved, and I know Dale and Neal are open to the next generation becoming involved if they choose to. There is no sense of forcing that path, but there is clearly pride in keeping the family name active in the marketplace."

"Working with Grace and Millie is probably one of the greatest joys of my life," says Katherine. "I talk about my work life quite a bit, but seeing both girls step into the business with passion and pride means more than any award could.

Katherine adds that her business was built "on family values, trust, care and doing the right thing, and Grace, Millie, and the rest of the team ensure that those values will continue for years to come."
