Gen H has reopened its panel for new registrations from directly authorised (DA) and appointed representative (AR) firms.
Brokers on Gen H’s panel can access its mortgage range, including its boost propositions, as well as its criteria and new affordability and deposit tools.
Gen H began lending in 2020 with the introduction of the income booster product. Income boosters are added to the mortgage but not the property deeds to boost what an applicant can borrow. It’s similar to a JBSP mortgage, but Gen H’s proprietary Ejector Seat calculation removes boosters before they turn 85, which often gets borrowers access to longer terms.
More recently, Gen H launched its New Build Boost scheme in partnership with housebuilder Persimmon. New Build Boost is the first mortgage scheme brought to market since Help to Buy and addresses both affordability and deposit challenges faced by aspiring homeowners.
Gen H became an intermediary-only lender in early 2024. Since then, its intermediary panel has grown to more than 22,000 broker partners, including networks and clubs such as the Legal & General Mortgage Club, MAB, Stonebridge, PMS, PRIMIS, Paradigm, TMA Club, and SimplyBiz Mortgages. Gen H also onboarded Mortgage Intelligence, HL Partnership, and Quilter in 2024.
Brokers can register by visiting intermediaries.generationhome.com and selecting “Log in to Gen H Pro”.
Leanne Sarjant, head of growth at Gen H, said: “A huge part of bringing genuinely innovative mortgage products to market is building a high-quality broker panel. After all, brokers are the experts who will be advising aspiring homeowners on the nuances of the myriad options that are available to them – we couldn’t do the work we’re doing without our panel.
"I’m delighted to officially open the panel for new registrations and look forward to meeting and collaborating with partners new and old as we work together to unlock homeownership for everyone."
