The team of five underwriters are all experienced in dealing with large and complex buy-to-let cases.
Working closely with brokers and their clients, members of the team can concentrate on helping portfolio landlords by understanding their business plans and where they sit within their various markets.
James Cooper-Smith, head of the portfolio team, said: “The reception from the market to our portfolio team has been great.
