Montello have now taken up residence at the top of Gerald Ronson's Herron House on Bentinck Street, just a short walk from Bond Street tube station.
Manaing Partner, Christian Faes commented:
"We have been keen to move to the West End for some time. Increasingly our investor base is from Mayfair, where there is a large contingent of London's family offices and hedge funds. The City has been great, but to a large extent it is very institutional, where Mayfair is far more entrepreneurial. There are also many of London's main property players, so the area suits us very well.
"Our business has continued to perform really well. In many respects it is more of the same; but this is very much a good thing. Each week we continue to raise more money, and also continue to grow our short term loan book. We are very focussed at the moment, with growing the business, but ensuring that it grows in a very sensible and sustainable way. Generally speaking it seems that the bridging market has gone through a decent period of consolidation. Everyone seems to be doing quite well, and largely just getting on with the business of doing deals."
