IPSE’s 74,000 members will now have access to John Charcol's London-based team who specialise in helping interims, contractors and independent professionals.
The Office for National Statistics found that self-employed workers made up 15.1% of the UK labour force in 2017 – a total of 4.8 million people. The number of women opting for self-employment is also rising, increasing by 77% between 2000-2017.
