Scottish Widows strengthens intermediary distribution team with three new hires

Scottish Widows has appointed an intermediary senior development manager among the new roles.

Scottish Widows has made three senior hires to bolster its intermediary distribution capability and support its growth ambitions across the advised wealth market.

Caroline Miller (pictured), who joins as strategic partnership director from Aberdeen, brings more than 23 years’ sales experience to the role. 

Alistair Stewart (pictured), strategic development director, also joins from Aberdeen where he secured a mandate worth £1bn AUM during his tenure. He brings understanding of the advice sector, market consolidation and investment insight supported by his IMC qualification.

Maria Kilpatrick, intermediary senior development manager, previously held the role of regional director at M&G, overseeing sales and BDMs responsible for distributing the PruFund range. She brings more than 20 years’ experience managing sales teams.

Jenny Davidson, intermediary wealth director at Scottish Widows, said: “These are star additions to our team who bring deep industry expertise and strong relationships across the advice market. Their arrival enhances our ability to serve intermediary partners and supports our ambition to grow by delivering a consistent, high quality experience for advisers and their clients.”
