Conveyancing distributor, conveybuddy, has completed a full technology integration of panel firm member, PLS Solicitors, into its platform.

The integration means advisers instructing PLS Solicitors through conveybuddy will benefit from a seamless transfer of case information directly into the firm's case management system, removing the need for duplicate data entry and enabling transaction information, milestones and updates to flow back through the conveybuddy platform in real-time.

PLS Solicitors is one of the UK's biggest conveyancing firms by volume, with around 200 employees and offices in Manchester, Liverpool, London, Dartford and Teesside. Thelaw firm handles the whole spectrum of residential property work, including specialist lender and company buy-to-let matters.

PLS Solicitors joins Advantage Property Lawyers, Chadwick Lawrence, Fidler and Pepper, Gorvins, Talbots Law and Your Conveyancer as fully-integrated conveyancing firms within the conveybuddy panel. The Moving Portal, conveybuddy's survey partner, is also fully integrated for survey instructions.

Harpal Singh, CEO at conveybuddy, commented: “PLS is another significant addition to our growing number of fully-integrated panel firms and, importantly, it takes us to the point where around nine out of 10 cases instructed through conveybuddy are now handled by firms whose systems are fully connected with our platform.

“That matters because integration should deliver practical benefits rather than simply being technology for technology's sake. Advisers should not have to enter the same information into different systems, chase conveyancers for updates that already exist or spend valuable time finding out where a case has reached when that information can be provided directly to them.

“PLS has a strong technology focus of its own and considerable experience across the residential property market, particularly in areas such as new-build and first-time buyer transactions, so there is a very natural fit between our two businesses.

“As we continue developing conveybuddy, our aim is to make the process as straightforward and transparent as possible for advisers and their clients. Full integration with our panel firms is a major part of achieving that because it allows advisers to remain much closer to the transaction after instruction, with better information and greater visibility over what is happening with their client's case.”

Anthony Rimmer, head of residential conveyancing at PLS Solicitors, said: “We are very pleased to have completed our full integration with conveybuddy. Both businesses share a strong focus on using technology to make the conveyancing process simpler and more transparent, while ensuring advisers and clients continue to receive the support they need. This integration allows information to pass directly between our systems, reducing manual administration and helping everyone involved in a transaction access accurate and timely information. We look forward to building on our relationship with conveybuddy and supporting more of its adviser users and their clients.”
