In September, Harrison left his role as director of business development at Stretton Capital after almost four and a half years.
Prior to that, he has held senior roles at Bank of Scotland, Mortgages PLC and GE Capital.
Breeze will be based in Chester and will provide a full spectrum of short term lending products, from light and heavy bridging loans to ground up development finance.
Breeze will officially launch on the 3rd October and further senior hires are expected to be announced shortly.
The business is being supported by a HNW family in addition to institutional funding lines, more of which will be sought as the business grows.
Mark Harrison said: “I’m very fortunate that my co-founders are very hands off, despite their ambition and drive to create a lending business of note.
“Their financial strength and unwavering support makes our proposition compelling enough, yet when you combine that with my experience and that of my yet to be announced colleagues, it provides all of the ingredients for a successful lender.
“This last two years or so have changed my outlook on life, particularly my working life and it’s hugely important that my colleagues and I enjoy what we do.
“A vibrant working environment, speedy, fuss free lending with no drama and the opportunity to grow a substantial lending business is something most people in this industry would aspire to and I am delighted to have this opportunity."
