Responsible Life has appointed Sara Robinson as its new head of business development.

Sara has worked in financial services for over two decades, and joins from Equity Release Associates, part of Age Partnership Group. She previously worked for Key Retirement Solutions and Skipton Financial Services.

Last month, Responsible Life appointed Tom Moloney as its new advice director and brought in Chris Flowers as intermediary sales director at lending arm, Responsible Lending.

Tim Waterlow, MD of Responsible Life, said: “It’s very exciting to have Sara onboard to help us grow these incredibly important channels. We want to become the destination of choice for advisers wishing to build and develop their businesses in this sector.”

Sara Robinson added: “This is now one of the fastest moving parts of the financial services landscape as issues such as inflation, the pension gap and loan affordability combine to fuel rapid growth in specialist later life lending. It’s the perfect time to join Responsible.”
