Sesame Bankhall Group (SBG) is accelerating the next stage of development for OneView, its adviser and principal platform launched earlier this year.
The next phase will be supported through a new technology partnership with JammJar, a mortgage and protection technology specialist using AI to help firms analyse case data faster and reduce manual administration.
SBG has developed OneView to provide clearer visibility of case activity and free up more adviser time for client conversations by bringing key tools, information and processes into one place. Work is now underway to integrate JammJar’s AI and data capability into the platform, with the aim of supporting faster analysis of mortgage and protection cases and helping advisers identify missing information or potential issues earlier in the process.
Launched in April, OneView is available on mobile, tablet or laptop and is being developed as part of SBG’s wider technology roadmap.
Shane Wright, chief technology officer at SBG, said: “OneView is a core part of our technology strategy because it gives us a platform we can continue to build around the needs of principals, advisers and the firms they work in. We developed it in-house so we could control the roadmap, respond quickly to feedback and bring more of the adviser and principal journey into one place. The aim is simple: to help advisers spend more time with their clients, while giving principals clearer access to the information they need to run and grow their businesses.
“We looked carefully at the market and selected JammJar as the right partner because of its proven AI capability and depth of experience in mortgage and protection technology. Working together means we can accelerate the AI and data capability within OneView, while keeping the platform aligned to our strategy and the needs of our members.”
Karl Griffin, CEO of JammJar, commented: “The mortgage and protection process still requires advisers to spend far too much time checking, chasing and rekeying information. By integrating JammJar into OneView, we can turn case data into clear, timely insight, flag missing information and help to keep cases moving.
“SBG has a clear vision for how AI can improve the working day for advisers and firm principals. It's not about adding technology for the sake of it. It's about making the system, which advisers use already, work harder for them, so they can spend more time understanding and supporting their clients. OneView gives us the chance to put that into practice across one of the UK’s largest adviser groups.”
