"Creating an environment where everyone has the opportunity to succeed requires continued commitment from businesses and individuals alike."

The winners of the 2026 Financial Reporter Women’s Recognition Awards (WRAs) were announced last night, Thursday, 15th October, celebrating the individuals and businesses making an exceptional contribution to the financial services industry.
Now in its ninth year, the WRAs continue to champion the achievements of women across mortgages, protection and specialist lending, recognising the talent and innovation that will drive the industry towards a more diverse and inclusive future.
The winners were revealed at last night’s Women’s Recognition Awards winners’ party at Exhibition White City, London, bringing together professionals from across the industry for an evening of celebration, recognition and entertainment.
In keeping with the '50 years forward' focus, this awards event saw the first winners in the new Mentor of the Year category, as well as in Adviser Rising Star and Provider Rising Star, designed to give more future leaders and those shaping them a platform upon which to shine.
The event, supported by headline sponsor L&C Mortgages, also provided an opportunity to reflect on the collective progress being made today and how this can be built upon for the next generations.

Rozi Jones, editor of Financial Reporter, commented: "Every year, the Women’s Recognition Awards allow us to celebrate the incredible talent, dedication and achievements of women across financial services, and 2026 has been no exception.
"Our winners and finalists continue to demonstrate the positive impact women are having across every corner of the industry, showing exceptional performance and leadership while supporting others and challenging the status quo.
"As we celebrate our ninth year, it’s encouraging to reflect on how far the industry has come, but equally important to recognise that there’s still work to be done. Creating an environment where everyone has the opportunity to succeed requires continued commitment from businesses and individuals alike.
"A huge congratulations to all of our 2026 winners and finalists. Your achievements deserve to be celebrated, and we hope your success continues to inspire the next generation of women in financial services."
