At just 27, Harrison Banner has already built a career that spans two major mortgage technology brands and a host of measurable successes. Starting out at Bluecoat Software as a Client Services Manager, Harrison admits he “fell into” financial services - but quickly proved he belonged there. His career path saw him progress through the ranks and play a pivotal role during Bluecoat’s acquisition by Twenty7tec in 2022. Today, as National Sales Manager, he’s helping to shape Twenty7tec’s commercial strategy and strengthen its relationships with brokers, lenders and technology partners across the country.
"Harrison’s approach to innovation is not just theoretical but is delivering real results for the business and its clients."
Harrison began his career aged 23, joining Bluecoat Software without a clear plan but with plenty of drive. Within months, he was recognised for his initiative and problem-solving skills - taking ownership of client challenges, managing key accounts, and providing feedback that directly shaped product development.
When Bluecoat was acquired by Twenty7tec, Harrison became a key part of the integration, ensuring continuity for clients and colleagues alike. His leadership through change not only steadied the transition but helped the business retain momentum and morale.
Since then, Harrison’s measurable impact has been significant. He’s directly contributed to over 1,000 new adviser users joining Twenty7tec systems, with strong retention and advocacy results. He’s also developed a consultative sales approach that blends industry-standard frameworks - SPIN, BANT, and MEDDIC - to turn product demos into genuine problem-solving sessions. The result: improved conversion rates, longer client relationships, and a team better equipped to deliver value-led conversations.
As a leader, Harrison is known for his patience, professionalism and humour. He leads Twenty7tec’s Sales Development Representatives, mentors new hires, and remains the go-to person for support and training across teams. The six-week onboarding and training module he created post-acquisition - complete with videos, quizzes, and drop-in sessions - is still used today.
Harrison’s influence goes beyond sales numbers: he’s helped shape Twenty7tec’s reputation for collaboration, innovation, and client trust.
