Jodie Andrews didn’t plan to work in financial services - she fell into it and never looked back. Starting her career in the architecture and construction sector, she built a strong foundation in marketing before moving into management at just 23 with Spicerhaart. It was there that she discovered a passion for the structure and strategy behind financial services - and the challenge of making complex businesses perform better through people and process. Today, as Head of Sales and Partnerships at One Mortgage System (OMS), Jodie is helping shape the future of mortgage technology. She’s built a dynamic front-of-house operation that unites marketing, partnerships and business development into one collaborative team, proving that innovation and culture are equally critical to success.
"Being younger than many of my colleagues, I had to work twice as hard to gain their respect. This experience shaped my approach to leadership"
Jodie began her career in architecture, progressing rapidly to become Global Marketing Manager overseeing operations across the UK, USA and Australia. Her transition into financial services came through Spicerhaart, where she took on leadership roles across marketing, valuations and wealth divisions.
It was at Spicerhaart that Jodie began reshaping how businesses thought about marketing: she turned her department from a cost centre into a revenue generator by selling her team’s expertise to brokers as an in-house agency.
At OMS, Jodie has continued that evolution. She launched Tech Talks, now a recognised industry event that bridges technology and mortgage distribution. She’s also built a new sales and partnerships function from the ground up, combining creative marketing with commercial insight to help OMS become one of the most connected players in the market.
Her leadership style is collaborative and human. She’s known for hiring based on potential, often bringing in people from outside the industry and supporting them to grow into high-performing professionals. By prioritising curiosity over credentials, Jodie has created a team that reflects the energy and diversity she wants to see across financial services.
